NDSU custodian receives ‘Campus Kudo’

The NDSU Staff Senate Recognition Committee recognized custodian Dale Kendall with this month's “Campus Kudo” award. The presentation was made May 1.

Kendall was nominated by Jeremy Straub, assistant professor of computer science, who wrote, “Dale is the second-floor custodian for the Quentin Burdick Building; however, he is the go-to person for when anyone in the building needs help with almost anything unusual. Dale goes above and beyond in doing his own work, maintaining the second floor, with an extremely positive attitude. He also always helps when people need extra things cleaned or need help moving things around the building. I also understand that he frequently helps out when setting up for special events, such as the annual fundraiser for United Way of Cass-Clay.”

A Campus Kudo is a certificate of appreciation for any person on campus for their contributions to NDSU. The program recognizes employees or students in the areas of customer service, continuous improvement, teamwork, integrity and quality.
