'Chronic and Traumatic Stress' presentation set

The NDSU Flood Response Team has planned a presentation for employees and students dealing with emotions from the impending flood. "Coping with Chronic and Traumatic Stress" is scheduled for Thursday, March 11, at 11:30 a.m. in the Memorial Union Century Theater following NDSU President Richard A. Hanson's open forum. It will be a half hour session.

Darren Tonsfeldt, director of In Office and Organizational Services at the Village Business Institute, a division of NDSU's Employee Assistance Program, will present ways to deal with stress from the anticipated 2010 flood. He has a background in program administration, employee supervision, clinical experience and 20 years of experience in organizational consulting and planning. He oversees The Village Business Institute and Fargo Counseling Services programs along with consulting services, including strategic planning, career, leadership, management and executive coaching, corporate training and group facilitation, crisis response in the workplace and organizational consulting.
