Daniel J. Klenow, chair of the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Emergency Management, recently was appointed to the editorial board of the Journal of Emergency Management.

The peer reviewed journal focuses on a wide variety of emergency management issues including emergency planning and response, disaster recovery, risk management, emergency communications, continuity of operations, preparedness and other topics in the field.

Klenow also has an article that will appear in the "Encyclopedia of Disaster Relief."
