The NDSU Graduate School has named the 2009-10 Teaching and Research Award recipients. The awards are presented in partnership with colleges each year.

“The Teaching and Research Awards recognize graduate student excellence in the classroom and research laboratories,” said David Wittrock, dean of the College of Graduate and Interdisciplinary Studies.

In honor and recognition of the graduate students’ accomplishments, each student receives a cash award. Awards were presented to the following graduate students:

Research

Alexa Hanson – College of Human Development and Education, human development

Barry Pemberton – College of Science and Mathematics, chemistry

Mayura Oak – College of Pharmacy, Nursing, and Allied Sciences, pharmaceutical sciences

Jessica Clark – College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, history

Junyi Zhou – College of Engineering and Architecture, industrial and manufacturing engineering
