Bruemmer elected to NACA board of directors

Kim Bruemmer, assistant director for campus activities at NDSU, has been elected to the board of directors of the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA). Her term began May 1.

Bruemmer has been at NDSU for seven years, where she coordinates campuswide programming and leadership initiatives.

She has been an active NACA volunteer for more than 10 years. Bruemmer is serving her second term on the NACA board of directors. Her first term was from 2002-03. She also has held regional leadership roles, including chair of the 2010 NACA Northern Plains Regional Conference.

Bruemmer earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mass communication from St. Cloud State University, and she is pursuing a doctorate in institutional analysis from NDSU.

Established in 1960, NACA has evolved into the nation’s largest collegiate organization for campus activities. Its membership is composed of 1,000 member colleges and universities nationwide and more than 800 associate members doing business in the college market. Associate members include talent agencies and performers representing more than 8,800 artists and specialty product items. For more information about NACA, visit www.naca.org.
