The Association of Students from India have scheduled an Earth Day event, "Srishti, Create a Healthy Earth," from Friday, April 23, from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., at NDSU Festival Concert Hall.

Shrishti will feature theatrical mime, skits, Indian Bharatanatyam dancing and other world dances. The event will call attention to Earth Day themes and will provide tips on how to help in the community.

"We want to provide an awareness among the NDSU students and community about the importance of protecting our environment and having harmony with nature," said NDSU student Sooraj Mattappadan.
