North Dakota State University Vice President of Finance and Administration Bruce Bollinger announced the appointment of Michael Ellingson as NDSU’s facilities management director.  Ellingson has been serving as interim director since May 19.

Ellingson will be responsible for all campus infrastructure, remodeling, project improvements, building maintenance, grounds, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, plumbing and custodial services. He will assure that capital improvements are in compliance with SBHE and Century Code policies and procedures and that the projects move forward in a timely manner.

“I am really excited about this opportunity. During the last several months, everyone on campus has been so helpful, welcoming and positive. There are a lot of things happening at NDSU and it’s exciting to be part of its future,” said Ellingson.

Ellingson, a 1988 NDSU mechanical engineering graduate, was physical plant director at the North Dakota State College of Science for the last four years.  Ellingson and his wife Julie have two daughters.
