The NDSU Staff Senate Development Committee will present “Extreme Home Makeover Review” on Thursday, Oct. 28, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the Memorial Union Century Theater as part of Staff Senate’s Discover U mini-sessions. Carol Cwiak, assistant professor of emergency management, will discuss how 60 to 70 students in NDSU’s Department of Emergency Management contributed to the success of the event by managing volunteers, trade, media and VIP check-in. She will share how students contributed their time, energy and skill sets while getting hands-on experience that will benefit them in their professional careers in the future.
