Winona LaDuke presentation at NDSU rescheduled

Winona LaDuke (Anishinaabe), Native American activist, environmentalist and writer, will present at NDSU on Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 7 p.m. in the Memorial Union Century Theater. She was previously scheduled to present on Monday, Nov. 29.

LaDuke lives and works on the White Earth reservation in northern Minnesota, and is a two-time vice presidential candidate with Ralph Nader for the Green Party. She is an activist for issues such as sustainable development, renewable energy and food systems.

LaDuke has written several books, including: “All Our Relations: Native Struggle for Land and Life,” “Recovering the Sacred: The Power of Naming and Claiming,” “Last Standing Woman” and “The Winona LaDuke Reader: A Collection of Essential Writings.”

The presentation is sponsored by NDSU’s Office of Multicultural Programs and the Equity and Diversity Center.
