Erika Offerdahl, assistant professor of chemistry and biochemistry, has been appointed to a new committee of the American Chemical Society’s Division of Chemical Education Examinations Institute. The committee is charged with the responsibility of generating the 2012 ACS Biochemistry Examination. The appointment recognizes Offerdahl’s credentials in the chemistry education community and her commitment to professional service on a national level. Offerdahl joined the department in 2008 and has established an active research program in biochemistry/STEM education.
