This year’s Discover U is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Memorial Union Great Plains Ballroom. All NDSU staff are invited and encouraged to attend this annual staff development workshop organized by NDSU’s Staff Senate.

The presenter will be Robin Getman, certified safety professional, professional speaker, trainer and humorist. Her presentation will focus on stress management and relaxation.

With nearly two decades experience in training and management, Getman speaks frankly about workplace experiences. Her expertise is in areas especially relevant in today’s work environment: service that sells, communication that connects and humor that helps.

Registration forms with more information have been sent to all staff. The deadline to register is Monday, Jan. 31. The cost is $25, which includes breakfast, lunch and refreshments.
