Entries sought for International Week Photo Essay Contest

NDSU faculty, staff and students are encouraged to submit photos, accompanied by a short essay for the 2011 International Week Photo Essay Contest. Entries are due by 5 p.m., Thursday, March 24, to the Office of International Programs, Memorial Union 116. Submissions should portray a cultural theme, such as scenic landscapes from around the world, historical monuments or cultural activities.

The photos and essays will be displayed from March 28 to April 1 in the Memorial Union lower level (Thundar’s Den) as part of NDSU’s annual International Week celebration. The entries will be judged and prizes will be awarded for the top three photos and for viewers’ choice.

Entry forms are available at www.ndsu.edu/International. All photos must be properly matted and ready for hanging. No frames are allowed. Additional requirements and restrictions are explained on the entry form.
