The NDSU College of Engineering is set to host Paul Dlugosch, BS ’89, electrical engineering, and president and CEO of Natural Intelligence Semiconductor, for its Distinguished Lecture Series.

Dlugosch is scheduled to present “Neuromorphic Computing: How AI is driving a revolution in processing architectures” Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 3:30 p.m. in Family Life Center, room 124. All are welcome to attend.

The talk will highlight the basic concepts embodied in a brain-inspired computing architecture as well as the properties exhibited by such a system.

Dlugosch founded Natural Intelligence Semiconductor in 2016. Prior to that he spent nearly 20 years at Micron Technology, holding various leadership positions across several key areas. Dlugosch also worked at Hewlett Packard for 10 years where he developed a deep expertise in a variety of memory technologies.

Dlugosch represented both Hewlett Packard and Micron at the Joint Electron Device Engineering Council and was president of the Council on Computing Power, an industry trade association. He holds several patents across various semiconductor technologies and architectures.
