Assistant professor receives fellowship

Amy Gore

Amy Gore, assistant professor of English, was recently named a junior fellow in Andrew W. Mellon Society of Fellows in Critical Bibliography through the Rare Book School at the University of Virginia.

Her fellowship will cover professional development in bibliography for the next two years, including a bibliographical field school and seminar, two Rare Book School courses and a grant to host a symposium at NDSU on critical bibliography.

Gore’s research interests and teaching include early Indigenous and American literature, book history, Gothic literature, body studies and the recovery of marginalized women and Native American writers. She earned her doctorate in English language and literature at the University of New Mexico.
