Julie Nash is the new Excellence Programs manager in the Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and Equity. She was selected for the position through an external search.

She brings 20 years of relevant higher education experience to the post, and she has earned a doctorate in education with an emphasis on institutional analysis. Her work history includes employment as a policy analyst for the Minnesota Higher Education Coordinating Board and most recently as a grant coordinator within the Department of Animal Sciences at NDSU.

“Julie has worked with diverse personnel in multiple disciplines and facilitating faculty success has been one of the most rewarding aspects of her career,” said Canan Bilen-Green, vice provost for faculty affairs and equity. “She will play a key role in providing comprehensive high-level support to our NDSU community by planning, promoting and hosting excellence programming, events and professional development programs. She also will identify opportunities that support development and leadership-building opportunities that enhance academic governance and diversity, and promote and nurture a campus climate of inclusive excellence.”
