An open house in honor of Carolyn Nelson, the new president of the National Federations of Music Clubs, is scheduled for June 23 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the NDSU Alumni Center.  

Nelson is an NDSU emeritus professor of mathematics. She will be the first North Dakota president since Agnes Jardine, who served as the 13th president from 1933-37.
