Pluralism program director to give Human Progress and Flourishing Workshop

The next Human Progress and Flourishing Workshop is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 17, at noon in Beckwith Recital Hall. Benjamin Klutsey is set to present “Unleashing Market Forces in Post-Colonial Ghana.”

All members of the NDSU community and the public are invited to attend the free event. After the presentation, hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served in the Challey School of Music Atrium.

Klutsey is director of academic outreach and director of the Program on Pluralism and Civil Exchange at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. He facilitates outreach to faculty leaders and university centers to foster collaborations and knowledge sharing about building academic programs. Prior to joining Mercatus, he worked at the Institute of International Finance analyzing international financial regulations.

The Human Progress and Flourishing Workshop, which is hosted by the Challey Institute for Global Innovation and Growth, invites internationally-renowned scholars from universities across the country to present their research and engage with the NDSU community.

The series continues every other Friday through Dec. 3.
