Animal sciences presentation scheduled

Robert Maddock, associate professor of animal science, will present “Renewal on the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation: Land, Cattle, Beef and People,” on Friday, Sept. 16, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in Hultz Hall room 104. The presentation is part of the Animal Science Graduate Seminar Series and is open to all interested students, faculty and staff.

Maddock earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in animal science at NDSU and doctorate in meat science at Texas A&M, College Station. Prior to joining NDSU, he spent five years at South Dakota State University where he was the Extension meat specialist. 

Maddock teaches several classes at NDSU including meat judging, meat processing and beef production. He conducts research in the areas of adding value to beef through production and processing management.
