Distance and Continuing Education announces technology training resource

NDSU Distance and Continuing Education announced a recent partnership with a technology learning solutions organization, Atomic Learning. The new service is available for all NDSU faculty, staff and students and provides access to educational resources on popular software titles. It makes it easy to learn new technologies for professional development purposes or to incorporate into teaching curricula.

The Atomic Learning site contains short video tutorials on hundreds of software titles and applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite, Blackboard, Photoshop, Twitter and Wordpress. Also available are video workshops on how educators can integrate blogging, social media and other technologies into their curriculum. The Atomic Learning videos range from the basics of select technology tools to the more advanced and specific features.

To access the NDSU Atomic Learning portal, visit https://secure2.atomiclearning.com/sso/cas/ndsu and use the same login information used to access NDSU email or Blackboard accounts. Users should bookmark the site after initially logging in. Users also can access Atomic Learning from the Faculty or Student Resources area located at the top of the Distance and Continuing Education website at www.ndsu.edu/dce.
