For the 10th straight year, the NDSU volleyball team has earned the 2021-22 American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award, the organization announced July 18.

The Bison also earned a spot on the AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll with a team GPA in the top 20% of NCAA Division I. NDSU had a 3.56 GPA in the spring semester and a 3.63 cumulative GPA.

It marks the 22nd overall time NDSU has received the AVCA Team Academic Award. The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a yearlong GPA of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale.
