The NDSU Challey School of Music is hosting the 2022 National Association of Music Executives of State Universities Conference. The conference began Sept. 15 and runs through Saturday, Sept. 17, at Madden's on Gull Lake in Brainerd, Minnesota.

The association is a non-chartered group that allows music school administrators at flagship music schools from each state or Canadian province to share challenges and academic issues in music education and explore solutions to the presented problems submitted by administrators. This year's meeting is expected to feature representatives from 38 states and one province.
