STEM Camp registration open

STEM Kids Camp

Registration is open for the popular STEM Kids Camp and the new STEM High School Camp offered by the NDSU College of Engineering.

The purpose of the STEM Camp program is to stimulate students interest in science, technology, engineering and math through exploration of topics not usually covered in their regular school classes.

These fun, hands-on learning camps for students in grades Kindergarten through Grade 8 and are offered mornings and afternoons two different weeks in July.

Session 1 – Monday, July 10 – Thursday, July 13

Session 2 – Monday, July 17 – Thursday, July 20

The STEM High School Camp will be offered July 24 through 27 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The week-long camp introduces students to the different disciplines of engineering. Mornings will be spent on campus working with NDSU faculty and students. In the afternoons, students will be going out on engineering industry visits.

“Our summer camps allow students to experience STEM in hands-on ways, explore new careers and pathways, and gain curiosity and confidence -- all while having fun," said Angela Gross, outreach coordinator for the College of Engineering.

Camp topics this year include everything from computer coding, robotics and mini-golf course design to building a roller coaster, STEM in space and engineering entrepreneurship.

Registration is now open online and camps are expected to fill quickly. Sign up early to ensure your choice of camps.

Registration before June 5 costs $125 per course for Kindergarten through Grade 8 and $325 for the STEM High School Camp. NDSU STEM Camp is sponsored by the College of Engineering.
