NDSU President Dean L. Bresciani and Student Body President Luke Brodeur will welcome new students Monday, Aug. 20, from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Bresciani and Brodeur will address the incoming class and lead them through the university gates, located on the corner of University Drive and 12th Ave. North, as a class. 

Bresciani will also introduce Sarah Hansen, the first student to be admitted for fall semester. Hansen, a marketing major, is from Village of Lakewood, Ill.

Classes begin Monday, Aug. 20, at 4 p.m.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
