Tiffany Fier has joined the Department of Theatre Arts as scenic designer. She earned a Master of Fine Arts from Purdue University and has worked extensively as a professional set designer, scenic artist and properties artisan for several theatres in the Midwest.

Fier has designed sets for the Children’s Theatre of Madison, First Stage in Milwaukee, Iowa State University and the Phipps Center for the Arts. Since 2008 she has worked as scenic charge for the American Players Theatre, one of the largest outdoor theatre companies in the nation and the Wall Street Journal’s 2011 “Company of the Year.”
