The NDSU Office of Admission recently announced several new hires and promotions.
Adam Lundquist was named transfer recruitment coordinator. He spent six years as an admissions counselor at the University of North Dakota and will be responsible for transfer student recruitment activities, including traveling to two-year institutions, communicating and meeting with prospective transfer students, and partnering with campus departments and other two-year institutions to develop programming and recruitment events for transfer students.
Lundquist earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from UND and is pursuing a master’s degree in educational leadership.
Elizabeth Worth was named assistant director of admission. She will be responsible for providing leadership to all campus visit programs coordinated in the Office of Admission. Events include coordinating the daily campus visit program, Saturday Series, Summer Open House and Discover NDSU. She also will co-supervise the campus tour guides.
Worth joined the Office of Admission in November 2009 and previously was an admission counselor. She earned a bachelor’s degree in music and master’s degree in counseling from NDSU.
Roxie Tetzlaff was hired as an admission counselor. In addition to meeting with prospective students and parents on campus, conducting high school visits in western North Dakota and representing the university at college fairs, Tetzlaff also will coordinate the Pathway Program at NDSU and conduct outreach events for the Office of Admission.
Tetzlaff, a Grand Forks native, earned a bachelor’s degree in interior design from NDSU. She previously worked in the design field and taught first-year interior design classes at NDSU.
Chris Held was hired as an intern for 2012 fall semester. He will travel to college fairs and complete high school visits in Minnesota and Wisconsin. In addition, he will conduct meetings with students touring campus to talk about admission procedures and university programs.
Originally from Hankinson, N.D., Held is a psychology major and sociology minor at NDSU.
Carissa Botton was hired as an admission representative intern. She will meet with prospective students and parents on campus, conduct high school visits in Minnesota and South Dakota and represent the university at college fairs. Botton, from Minot, N.D., is studying public relations and advertising at NDSU.
Bethany Economos joined the Office of Admission this fall as an admission representative intern. Originally from Thief River Falls, Minn., she has worked in the office for the past three years as an admission assistant. While attending NDSU, she has been involved in Students Today Leaders Forever, Bison Guides, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Phi Eta Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi.
