The Department of Animal Sciences was host to executives and staff from the American Simmental Association and Red Angus Association of America Sept. 20 and 21. The event included presentations on the future of the beef industry, feeding and nutrition topics, and improving and managing genetics in the beef herd. It also included a producer meeting on how to improve the cattle and beef business.
