NDSU Graduate Student Association to host Graduate Research and Arts Forum

The fourth annual NDSU Graduate Research and Arts Forum is scheduled for Thursday, April 11, from 10 a.m. to noon, in the Memorial Union Prairie Rose room.

Sponsored by the Graduate Student Association, this event encourages current students to showcase their graduate research, teaching, outreach and creative projects.

“The research and arts forum gives our students an opportunity to showcase the high level of scholarly activity that takes place on our campus,” said David Wittrock, dean of the College of Graduate and Interdisciplinary Studies.

Presentations will highlight projects in the following fields: animal sciences, civil engineering, computer science, communication, counselor education, developmental science, environmental and conservation sciences, health, nutrition and exercise science, human development and family science, microbiology, pharmaceutical sciences, physics, plant pathology, psychology and public health.

Provost Bruce Rafert will present cash awards at noon for first, second and third place to the student and their adviser. The event is free and open to the public.

Graduate Research and Arts Forum topics include:
