Visual arts professor, students’ exhibit featured at Plains Art Museum

Kent Kapplinger, professor of visual arts, coordinated and participated in a print exchange and exhibition titled “Oil and Water,” which is on display at the Plains Art Museum through May 12.

Kapplinger and printmaking students Jonathan Carlson, Derek Graham, Rosie Kelly, Sydney Martin, Dani Pauley, Megan Ward, and Ian Warner, in addition to students from Concordia College, Minnesota State University Moorhead, Minot State University, University of Manitoba, University of North Dakota and Valley City State University, tackled challenging issues concerning the use or misuse of natural resources through the medium of printmaking and portfolio exchange.

Kapplinger, Heidi Goldberg of Concordia College and John Volk of MSUM coordinated the project. For more information on the exhibition, visit plainsart.org.
