NDSU’s Amy Anderson, Megan Swan and Sarah Storandt were named to the All-America Scholar Team by the Women's Golf Coaches Association. The announcement was made July 1.
Anderson, a senior accounting major from Oxbow, N.D., led The Summit League with a school record 72.84 scoring average. She became the first three-time individual champion in league history and was named Golfer of the Year for the fourth straight season.
Swan, a junior civil engineering major from Tipp City, Ohio, played in seven events and finished the season with an 84.84 scoring average.
Storandt, a sophomore math education major from Moorhead, Minn., finished 15th in The Summit League with an 80.77 average, including a pair of top-10 finishes.
A total of 644 women's collegiate golfers from Divisions I, II and III were recognized on the association’s All-America Scholar Team. The minimum cumulative grade-point average is 3.50.
NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
