NDSU faculty receive best paper award

A paper written by Canan Bilen-Green, vice provost for advancement of faculty and interim chair of industrial and manufacturing engineering; Roger A. Green, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering; Christi McGeorge, associate professor of human development and family science; Elizabeth J. Birmingham, associate professor of English and Ann Burnett, professor and director of women and gender studies, received the best paper award in the new engineering educators division of the American Society for Engineering Education.

The award for their paper, titled “Mentoring Programs Supporting Junior Faculty,” was announced at the society’s conference in Atlanta during June. The paper describes the mentoring program for junior faculty that is part of the NDSU Advance FORWARD program.

NDSU is recognized as one of the nation's top 108 public and private universities by the Carnegie Commission on Higher Education.
