The increasing population of neurodiverse students brings diversity to our campuses. This discussion will include an overview of autism, the differences between ADA and IDEA, accommodations both reasonable and unreasonable at college and the social, academic and interpersonal experiences of neurodiverse college students. We will address classroom strategies along with meeting ideas, there will be time for questions and discussion. The featured speaker for this event is Dr. Jane Brown, director of College Autism Spectrum.
