Jeffrey Clark
Dr. Jeffrey T. Clark, Emeritus Professor of anthropology and archaeology. He specialized in the archaeology of Oceania as well as computer applications in archaeology. He came to NDSU in 1983 and retired at the end of 2016. He now lives in Hudson, Wisconsin and Tucson, Arizona and can be reached at Jeffrey.Clark@ndsu.edu.
Patty Corwin
Mrs. Patty Corwin has been a member of the North Dakota State University faculty since 1979. Her primary teaching responsibilities were introduction to sociology, minorities and race relations, sociology of gender and sociology through literature. Mrs. Corwin's research interests include minorities and race relations, gender, and service learning. Mrs. Corwin does a variety of seminars and workshops for businesses.
Gary Goreham
Dr. Gary Goreham, Emeritus Professor, had been a member of the North Dakota State University faculty since 1986. His primary teaching responsibilities were research methods, social organization, sociology of religion, and community development. Dr. Goreham retired in 2019.
Timothy Kloberdanz
Dr. Kloberdanz, Emeritus Professor, retired from NDSU in 2010. His areas of expertise were expressive culture and folklore, anthropological theory, Indians of the Plains, people of Europe and ethnicity. He can be reached at Timothy.Kloberdanz@ndsu.edu.
H. Elaine Lindgren
Elaine H. Lindgren, Emeritus Professor of sociology. She came to NDSU in 1970 and retired in 2005. Her research interests included social change, social inequality, and gender. She now lives in Iowa.
Joy Query
Dr. Query, Emeritus Professor, retired from the university in 1991. Her areas of interest were medical sociology and mental health. She still resides in Fargo, ND. If you would like to get in touch with her, please contact the department for information.
Richard Rathge
Richard Rathge, Emeritus Professor of sociology. He came to NDSU in 1981 and retired in 2013. He had a joint appointment in the sociology and agricultural economics departments. He also served as the Director of the ND State Data Center and as the state demographer. He now lives in the Twin Cities of Minnesota.
Thomas Riley
Thomas J. Riley, Emeritus Professor of anthropology and archaeology. His research expertise was in the archaeology of North American and of Oceania. He came to NDSU in 1996 to take the position of Dean of the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, which he held until 2011. He retired from the department in 2014. He still lives in Fargo and can be reached at Thomas.Riley@ndsu.edu.
William Sherman
William Sherman retired from NDSU in 2000. His areas of interest were racial and ethnic relations, rural sociology, regional studies and religion. He currently resides in Grand Forks, ND.
Kathleen Slobin
