Approach to Teaching and Sample Syllabi
Our courses cover important and timely topics. Each course is developed through backwards design to ensure that every topic covered, reading assignment, applied/service learning project, and assessment activity helps students achieve course objectives. Our courses are also designed explicitly to 1) expose students to relevant research, 2) apply learning, 3) build critical soft skills (e.g., facilitation, intrapersonal and group communication, oral and written communication, leadership, project management).
