NDSU Writing Programs

The Writing Programs at NDSU aim to cultivate and support strong student writing. We promote strong teaching and learning through regular professional development for our faculty and curriculum review. In 2017, the NDSU Writing Program received the Award for Excellence in Program Assessment from the Office of Teaching and Learning.

All undergraduate students participate in NDSU’s Writing Program by taking the required general education writing classes in their first year (English 110/112 and 120/122) and again after they have earned 60 credits (300- or 400-level discipline-specific writing courses).
