Transfer Students
Transferring from another university can be a daunting experience! We strive to make this process as easy as possible.
Gen Ed Waivers: Students who have completed an Associate of Arts (A.A.), Associate of Science (A.S.), NDUS General Education Requirement Transfer Agreement (GERTA), or Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC) from a regionally accredited institution will have their lower-level general educations requirements waived.
Transfer Equivalency Database: Students may check for unofficial evaluations using TES. This database looks at your former campus courses to show the equivalency to NDSU courses. An example is California State University - Sacramento. The CHDV 35 Child and Adolescent Development course (3 credits) is equivalent to HDFS 330 Child Development (3 credits).
