NDSU College of Business Statement of Inclusivity
NDSU’s College of Business stands in unity and solidarity with all members of our campus, regardless of race, color, religion, age, sex, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, veteran status, political point of view, or perspective on any particular issue. We are proud of the diversity in our students, faculty, and staff, and we celebrate it in our curriculum, in our programming, and in our daily lives. Our College provides everyone the space to be their own person, and we think every person has something valuable to add to business education and research.
We condemn acts of hate and bigotry as antithetical to the College’s core values. We stand opposed to violence in language or in action, and we see intolerance as a threat to the mission of the College of Business, as we are committed to intellectual and cultural growth of our students, team, and community.
We value the unique skills and attributes of every member of our community, and we believe learning and moral progress are only possible through empathy, dialogue, understanding, and inclusion. We work daily to bring a diversity of ideas and people to our College, and we stand with and for the most vulnerable members of our community. We are committed to taking actions to help our students and team feel safe and know they are safe. We affirm NDSU’s College of Business commitment to student success within a diverse, supportive college environment.
In the College of Business at NDSU, every person plays a role in advancing inclusion, dignity, and tolerance. Our commitment to diversity can be seen across our diverse faculty, in our guest speakers, in our commitment to student success and advancing every student—exceptional and ordinary—to become the best versions of themselves. Together in unity and solidarity, we believe we can transform our students and the communities we serve.
