Accounting Club
Accounting students, this is a must! As a member of the Accounting Club, you will build your networking skills while spending time making great friends in the profession. Throughout the year you will have a chance to explore careers in Accounting through the following events:
- Guest speakers at each meeting (at least one a month!)
- Spring trip to the Twin Cities (we visit several accounting firms)
- Meet the Firms (annual networking event with employers)
- Accounting Club Banquet (Door prizes, awards and good food!)
Each meeting includes interesting news from the accounting field, information on upcoming events, as well as, pizza and pop. It’s a valuable organization to include on your resume and may be a key to your college success. So if you’re an Accounting major we urge you to take part in the Accounting Club!

Association of Transportation and Logistics (ATL)
The Association of Transportation & Logistics (ATL) provides students and faculty the opportunity to network, learn, and grow in the transportation industry.
We are a student organization from the North Dakota State University which has a diverse group that includes students from the following fields of study: supply chain management, economics, logistics, industrial and manufacturing engineering, business, and civil engineering.
Our mission is to provide a knowledgeable, but fun, experience for members to further understand the various sectors of the transportation industry. Whether it is a field trip to the local mass transit facility or going to one of the regional/national conferences for transportation professionals.

Bison Fund
Bison Fund members manage our $2.2 million dollar portfolio for the Larson Foundation, Institute of Regional Studies, and North Dakota State University—learning how to identify and research potential investments, applying tools like Excel and Bloomberg.
New members begin by updating financial models and monitoring earnings calls of the companies we are currently invested in. More experienced members will conduct research on new companies, contact management, and build new financial models.
Between earnings season, our meetings are spent developing networking skills, hosting resume and cover letter workshops, providing assistance with LinkedIn, and bringing in guest speakers from the industry.
We also help students put what they’ve learned into action through various networking trips to Minneapolis, Chicago, New York, and Omaha, where we visit a variety of firms to show the many different routes students can take with a career in finance.

- Hosting of the Navigating the Financial Markets event
- Coordination of a charity fundraiser
- Addition of three new companies to its portfolio
- Development of a new investment strategy
- 2nd place finish for five of our members at the CFA Research Challenge competition in Minneapolis

Entrepreneurship Club
The paramount goal of the Entrepreneurship Club is to education students about entrepreneurship and to create an open forum for discussion. The club will also act as an open resource for students to network and help them on their entrepreneurial ventures.
This club hosts many events, including fireside chats, workshops, and hangouts with local entrepreneurs. Tentative meeting days are Tuesday/Wednesday throughout the school year; location TBD.
Future Real Estate Professionals
The Future Real Estate Professionals of NDSU is an organization for like-minded students interested in the real estate industry. Within the real estate industry there are so many different paths that one can take. It is hard to first know if it is even an industry that you are interested in. In this organization we will be learning, and networking with local real estate leaders. MIS Club
The MIS Club is an organization for students who are enthusiastic about technology and/or business. It is open to all majors and focuses on learning, making new friends, and creating connections with different businesses. Monthly meetings feature speakers from various local businesses, pizza and pop, and networking. Members also have opportunities to tour some of the region's larger businesses.

The NDSU Human Resource Association is a professional student organization nationally affiliated with the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and locally affiliated with the Fargo-Moorhead HR Association. The mission of Women in Business is to create a community of women who inspire and support each other in their careers. This organization strives to expand career, leadership and networking opportunities for women at North Dakota State University. We aim to engage and celebrate women as leaders in order to help women reach their greatest potential in their futures. As women entering a male-dominated field, we believe strong community and support are crucial to the success and forward progression of women in the world today.
We encourage our members to have an active school life and participate in the activities of North Dakota State University’s professional societies advocating their discipline of Business.
