What are your primary job responsibilities?
Perform experimental work and numerical simulations of high temperature and pressure fluidized beds.
Describe what your day-to-day work life looks like.
In the morning, I usually work on the computer. Some days its meetings or meeting preparation, other days it is data processing, ordering parts, or writing code. In the afternoon, I have class, meetings, or head into the lab to work on the experimental setup or take data.
What is most rewarding about your job?
Completing milestones for the project and finishing publishable research.
What is most challenging about your job?
Trying to complete coursework and research work at the same time makes for long hours.
