Pharmacy alumnus Michael Gulseth (PharmD - 1999) provided expertise to help the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists develop an Anti-Coagulation Certificate to assist pharmacists, expanding their knowledge and skills in anticoagulation therapy management across special populations. Gulseth is Program Director for Anticoagulation Services at the Sanford USD Medical Center, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and President of Michael P. Gulseth Anticoagulant Consulting Inc.

He has focused his career on clinical treatment of anti-coagulation patients, as well as creating optimum systems and staff training in increasingly complex care and regulatory environments.
