Molly Secor-Turner, PhD, MS, RN, Assistant Professor of Nursing and Public Health, spoke at the NDSU World iView Seminar on February 20, 2014, on the topic “Learning Through Partnership: Community Health in Rural Kenya”. Secor-Turner has established a faculty-led study abroad trip to rural Kenya for NDSU nursing students, conducted research with rural Kenyan adolescents, and partnered with faculty and students in the English department to address rural Kenyan community health.
Secor-Turner presented the ways in which these partnerships have facilitated student learning and contributed to health promotion in rural Kenya.
