How do I know that the accommodation the student has requested is appropriate and legitimate?
If you receive a Notification of Academic Support Services from the Center for Accessibility and Disability Resources, you can be assured the student has provided the NDSU with proof of a disability under the legal definition of the word. The type of special accommodation suggested on the form will be one which has legitimacy in relation to the disability listed.
