Academic departments (and the individual faculty members who make up those departments) are responsible for ensuring that their programs are accessible to students with disabilities. This responsibility covers physical access to the locations where the activity will occur (whether on‐ campus classroom, remote internship, or field trip). It also covers modifications necessary in the format or delivery of information which would make it accessible to an individual with a specific disability.
