The last day to reduce a required or optional meal plan, or cancel an optional plan, is 08/31/2023 for Fall and 01/18/2024 for Spring. The last day to increase a meal plan via GET is 11/15/2023 for Fall and 04/15/2024 for Spring. After that time, please contact Dining.

2023/2024 Block Plans
Block plan meal swipes roll over from fall to spring semester, and are valid 8/5/2023 - 8/2/2024. After that date, unused meal swipes expire and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Meal plan holders may use their meal passes for themselves and accompanying guests (meal plan holders must be present for guests to use their meals).

Visit the GET website, or download the GET Mobile app, to sign up for your unlimited or block meal plan. You can also use GET to track your meal plan, access the dining center and more. If you are an transfer student, you will not be able to use GET to purchase your plan your first year at NDSU. Please email ndsu.dining@ndsu.edu or call (701) 231-7001 to get your meal plan.

• You may purchase an unlimited plan at any time throughout the semester and the rate will be prorated to your purchase date.
• The last day to reduce a required or optional meal plan, or cancel an optional plan, is 08/31/2023 for Fall and 01/18/2024 for Spring.

Cancelation requests must be emailed to ndsu.dining@ndsu.edu.  

Upper-level students living in a traditional or suite-style hall (Burgum, Dinan, Stockbridge, Churchill, Weible, R/J, High Rises, Cater): Students can select one of three options: five-day unlimited, seven-day unlimited, or a 170 block plan (per semester).

• All meal plans automatically renew for the spring semester.
  • If you select a 170 block plan, you will get 170 meal swipes in the fall semester, and an additional 170 meal swipes in the spring. Unused fall semester meal swipes roll over to spring semester. Block plan meals expire August 2, 2024.
• If you move to a hall without a requirement, your meal plan will remain active and cannot be canceled unless it is within the first 8 full days of the semester. 

Niskanen Hall and Mathew Living Learning Centers: No meal plan requirements.

• Students may add an unlimited access plan or block plan during housing sign-up or by accessing GET . 
• New transfer students cannot use GET to purchase a meal plan; instead you should email ndsu.dining@ndsu.edu to purchase a plan. 
• Meal plans will not automatically renew for spring semester.

Off-Campus and NDSU Apartments: No meal plan requirements.

• Students may purchase an unlimited or block plan by accessing GET.
• New transfer students cannot use GET to purchase a meal plan; instead you should email ndsu.dining@ndsu.edu to purchase a plan. 
• Meal plans will not automatically renew for spring semester.

Tri-college Off-campus Students: Tri-college students may purchase a block plan online via the NDSU Marketplace.
